Pick up from NJP / Bagdogra and drive to Darjeeling ( Approx. 75 kms. / 2.5 hrs. Drive ). Enroute we shall stop for photography at Coronation Bridge. Arrive and check into hotel , rest of the day is free for leisure . Overnight in Darjeeling.
Today we shall proceed for a day excursion to to Sandakphu. Sandakphuis the highest point of the Singalila Ridge in Darjeeling district on the West Bengal-Nepal border. The peak is located at the edge of the Singalila National Park and has a small village on the summit with a few hostels. Four of the five highest peaks in the world, Everest, Kangchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen from its summit. You could opt for trek. Drive back to Darjeeling. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Today we shall proceed drive to Kalimpong. Upon arrival at Kalimpong , we shall visit sightseeing of Kalimpong. The road is picturesque and runs along the River Teesta – Kalimpong is Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1243 meters / 4078 feet. Kalimpong is fabled for orchids, rarest cacti and nurseries. Check into hotel. Afternoon we shall proceed to visit – Zang DhokPalri or Durpin Monastery, Army Golf Course – Nursery, Deollo (Hill),Hanuman Tok, Dr Grahams Home (school with high standard of education) etc. Back to hotel. Evening free to stroll ( At your own ) around Kalimpong bazaar for shopping of handicrafts and relics. We will drive back to Darjeeling.Overnight in Darjeeling
After Breakfast we shall proceed for sightseeing - city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda . Back to hotel. Evening you could walk around the Mall area or Chowk Bazaar. Overnight at Darjeeling
Today we check out from hotel and drop at NJP / Bagdogra.
