Drive from Pune to Ganpatipule which is about 325 Kms and a 7 hours’ drive approximately. In Ganpatipule we will visit the famous Swayambhu Temple, Prachin Konkan Museum and the main beach. Later we will proceed to Ratnagiri for overnight stay. Check in at your hotel in Ratnagiri. Overnight.
In the morning visit important sights in Ratnagiri – Marine Aquarium and Museum, Thibaw Palace and Ratnadurg Fort. Later you will be driven to Amboli which is about 225 Kms and a 6 hours’ drive. Enroute to Amboli, you will visit the town of Pawas. Pawas is very holy place, were Swami Swarupanand took samdhi, thousands of tourist and followers of him visit this place everyday. Also enroute to Amboli you can stop at Tarkali to enjoy water sports activities. In case you are not interested on water sports then you can visit the Sindhudurg Fort. Built by none other than Chhatrapati Shivaji, the construction of Sindhudurg Fort utilizes the natural protection of the surrounding rocks to their advantage. With its solid walls and conspicuous gateways, this fort is a fascinating piece of history which makes it a favourite tourist spot. Check in at the hotel in Amboli.
This morning proceed on a sightseeing of various places of interest in Amboli – Amboli Falls, Madhavgadh Fort, and Hiranya Keshi Temple. In the evening you can enjoy the sunset from sunset point. Overnight
This morning you will be driven back to Pune which is about 220 Kms away and a 4 hours' drive. Time permitting, you can also visit Panhala Fort. Panhala fort is located in Panhala, 20 kilometres northwest of Kolhapur in Maharashtra, India. It is strategically located looking over a pass in the Sahyadri mountain range which was a major trade route from Bijapur in the interior of Maharashtra to the coastal areas. Due to its strategic location, it was the centre of several skirmishes in the Deccan involving the Marathas, the Mughals and the British East India Company,
